As you know Christmas is only 5 weeks away.
The PAWS members are organising the following events, for all Glade pupils.
Christmas Raffle ticket's.
Christmas Ball.

Christmas Raffel tickets: We will drawn the tickets at the school assembly, on the 13th December.
Prizes include:
Meal for 2 at the OXO restaurant
A pair of Panto/theatre tickets at the Kenneth Moore Theatre
Meal for 2 at Nuovo restaurant
A Manicure & Spray tan at Imagination

Christmas Ball.
The Ball will take place on Thursday 9th December.
Starts: 3.45-5.15pm. (Ticket only - 100 per KS1 & 100 KS2)
Your child will get a letter in the next few days to explain about tickets.
There will be an Entertainer, for KS1 & KS2, Reindeer food, Tuck, Glow sticks on sale.
They will also be able to get their photos taken. Back drop can be, Justin Bieber, Toy Story, Charlie & Lola, Father Christmas, JLS and many more.

Please remember that all money raised will go back into the school. At the moment, we are trying to raise funds for our school football team. They need new football kits.
Other things that the PAWS money goes towards is Christmas books and every pupil will get one, delivered by our very own Glade Father Christmas.
Money was also paid towards the school kitchen.

THE GLADE SUMMER FETE.

Hello everyone,

As you may already know ( via our new letter), the PAWS are planning our Summer Fete, which is on Satursday 19th June, starts at 12pm till 3pm.

We have the a DJ, Fire Engine, Bottle TombolaBouncy Castle & Football Tombola, Melons and Fruits stall, BBQ, Pimms stall, Nail's and Heena and Hair bands stall's, Face painting, Ice Cream van and many more things for your entainment.
All are welcome, so come and enjoy yourself and if anyone wants a stall, pls contact me, Sammy Canning.

May Ball

Hi everyone,
Just to remind you, that we have a meeting on the 20th May @ 2pm.
New members welcome and drinks and creche are avaiable.

Also, that the May Ball is on the 27th May. 3.45 - 5.30pm. Pls note that as there are limited
no of tickets, so pls get your ticket's A.S.A.P.
Also, Non-uniform day is the same day.

Welcome

Hello and welcome to the new blog for the PAWS. (PAWS means Parents Association Working in Schools).

My name is Sammy and I am the Chair-person.

All of our helpers are parents, whose children attend the Glade. We meet regularly and discuss ways of raising money for the school.

We have already had a very good turn out for the Easter fayre. (Thanks for everyone who attended).

We are in the planning stage for our May Day Ball, 27th May (ticket only), Yr 6 leaver's Disco, Yr 6 parents BBQ, Summer fete, etc. These are some of the ideas that we have come up with.

If anyone would like to join the PAWS, you're more than welcome. Our next meeting is on the 12th May @ 2pm. Toddlers are welcome.
